Gratiace is a compassionate counselling psychology practicum student committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for clients. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Laurentian University and ongoing graduate studies at Yorkville University, he blends academic knowledge with a strong foundation in multicultural competence, empathy, and active listening. Gratiace brings extensive experience in supporting children, youth, and diverse communities, having worked in roles ranging from employment specialist to youth pastor. He is passionate about person-centered and trauma-informed care, and his approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and creative interventions such as art and play therapy. Gratiace is fluent in six languages—English, French, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, and Lingala—enabling him to connect meaningfully with clients from varied backgrounds.
